»Checkered Ninja« is a series of very popular books for children – and also very popular animated movies. The creator of both books and movies is top–comedian / actor / author, Anders Matthesen. If the books had been published with a totally blank cover they would still be bestsellers. If they had been published without any cover at all they would still be the biggest success in Danish children's books. But they were not, and I was lucky to be part of the design process.

For these books I worked on the inside of the books as well as on the covers. In the first one the illustrations are by Rasmus Meisler, in the second one they are by Thorbjørn Christoffersen who also directs the movies.
